The label “Jesus’ Remnant” simply means Christians, which continues to stand as a vailid and Biblical name for those who have genuinely trusted in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and have been actually born again – a new creation on the journey to eternal life and the Kingdom of God. However, today the name ‘Christian’ is claimed by many people who simply are not saved, not trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, have not been born again, not a new creation, and still living in rebellion against the Kingdom of God. Many claim the religion of Christianity, but do not serve Jesus as Lord and King, often ignoring and misrepresenting His teachings, teachings that are clear in the Word of God.
The label “Jesus’ Remnant” is our attempt to distingish between genuine and false believers. We prefer the label “Christian”. However, today’s unfaithfulness requires a way to emphasize the difference.
